[:en]The Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence, The Centre of Modern Skills and The Centre for Support of Women in Kikinda, with the generous support of USAID Serbia would like to codially invite you to apply for participation in The Women’s Leadership Academy, which is to be held between 29th and October 2nd  in Zrenjanin (for participants form Vojvodina and Belgrade) and between September 15th and September 18th in Kragujevac (for participants from other parts of Serbia).[:sr]Beogradski fond za političku izuzetnost, Centar modernih veština i Centar za podšku ženama iz Kikinde uz podršku USAID Srbija vas pozivaju da se prijavite za učešće na Akademiji ženskog liderstva koja će se održati od 15-18. septembra u Subotici (za učesnice iz Vojvodine i Beograda) i od 29. septembra do 2. oktobra u Kragujevcu (za učesnice iz ostatka Srbije). Akademija je četvorodnevna obuka namenjena liderkama iz različitih stranaka, zainteresovanim da aktivno učestvuju u kreiranju političkog života Srbije i da kroz svoj angažman doprinesu poboljšanju položaja žena u društvu.[:]

[:sr]Akademija je četvorodnevna obuka namenjena liderkama iz različitih stranaka, zainteresovanim da aktivno učestvuju u kreiranju političkog života Srbije i da kroz svoj angažman doprinesu poboljšanju položaja žena u društvu. Akademija ženskog liderstva je program koji je u Srbiji sprovodio Nacionalni demokratski institut (NDI) do 2013. godine, kada su ga preuzele tri organizacije na otvorenom konkursu.

Akademija je namenjena političarkama, koje ispunjavaju sledeće opšte uslove:

  • da su aktivne članice političkih stranaka, političkih pokreta ili grupa građana
  • da obavljaju javnu funkciju (u izvršnoj ili zakonodavnoj vlasti) ili da imaju želju da se kandiduju za javnu funkciju
  • da su spremne da kontinuiranim učenjem grade svoju karijeru i da su zainteresovane za oblast rodne ravnopravnosti
  • da dele vrednost solidarnosti – žele i reaguju u situaciji napada na žene ili kada je nekoj ženi potrebna pomoć i ohrabrenje
  • da, ukoliko budu izabrane, savezno odgovore obavezama koje su prihvatile u okviru Akademije ženskog liderstva

Posebnu pažnju ćemo posvetiti političkim strankama, organizacijama i grupama građana čije su članice zastupljene u novim sazivima predstavničkih tela – republičkog i pokrajinskog parlamenta, kao i skupština opština. U cilju formiranja izbalanasirane grupe učesnica, posebno ohrabrujemo pripadnice manjinskih nacionalnih zajednica da se prijave.

Ove godine na Akademiji će biti zastupljene sledeće teme: 

  • Istorija i rezultati borbe za ženska ljudska prava
  • Diskusija sa narodnim i pokrajinskim poslanicama
  • Politički sistem i važnost učešća žena u političkom odlučivanju
  • Pravni i institucionalni okvir za dostizanje rodne ravnopravnosti u Srbiji
  • Lokalne politike rodne ravnopravnosti
  • Položaj žena iz ugroženih grupa
  • Liderske veštine na ženski način
  • Životne priče liderki
  • Veštine javnog nastupa, argumentacije i debate

Pored predavanja, treninga i radionica na kojima se bavimo navedenim temama, program Akademije inkorporira dodatne oblike aktivnosti. Pored sticanja znanja i veština, polaznice Akademije imaće priliku da se sretnu i razgovaraju sa iskusnim političarkama i parlamentarkama, ali i sa liderkama ostvarenim u razičitim profesijama i ulogama. Predviđene su projekcije filmova koji tematski odgovaraju na teme koje su u fokusu Akademije ženskog liderstva, kao i video snimanje i analiza javnog nastupa svake od učesnica. Konačno, biće odvojeno i vreme za upoznavanje, umrežavanje i druženje učesnica programa.

Osnovne informacije o programu:

  • program Akademije će biti realizovan kroz jedan četvorodnevni seminar i prateće aktivnosti: sastanke sa mehanizmima za rodnu ravnopravnost i drugim nadležnim institucijama, zagovaranje za unapređenje normativnog okvira, kao i sastanke sa ženskim nevladinim organizacijama
  • na seminarima će biti prisutno do 30 učesnica
  • predavači/ice na seminaru će biti istaknuti stručnjaci/kinje i javne ličnosti
  • organizatori snose troškove seminara, smeštaja i prevoza kao i svih pratećih aktivnosti
  • polaznice koje budu učestvovale na Akademiji ženskog liderstva će po završetku programa dobiti potvrdu o uspešno završenom programu i postaće deo alumni kluba Akademije.

Potrebno je da kandidatkinja popuni online prijavu Akademije ženskog liderstva (EDIT: link do prijave je ukinut, jer je konkurs završen) o razlozima za uključivanje u politiku i bavljenje rodnom ravnopravnošću na najkasnije do ponedeljka, 18. jula 2016. godine. Selekcija kandidatinja obaviće se u periodu od 18. jula do 18. avgusta na osnovu sledećih kriterijuma:

  • Iskazana motivacija za bavljenje politikom
  • Iskustvo i prethodni angažman u politici u bavljenju rodnom ravnopravnošću
  • Posvećenost vrednostima rodne ravnopravnosti
  • Funkciji u okviru političke partije/pokreta
  • Učešću u institucijama izvršne ili zakonodavne vlasti, ili u organima javne uprave.

Program Akademije ženskog liderstva je omogućen velikodušnom podrškom američkog naroda kroz Američku agenciju za međunarodni razvoj (USAID). Sadržaj programa je isključiva odgovornost Beogradskog fonda za političku izuzetnost, Centra modernih veština i Centra za podršku ženama i ne predstavlja stavove USAID-a ili Vlade SAD.

[:en]The Academy is a four-day training intended for women leaders from different parties, interested in actively taking part in forming the Serbian political life and contributing to women’s position in the society through their engagement. The Women’s Leadership Academy is a program which was conducted in Serbia by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) until 2013, when it was taken over by three organisations at an open contest.

The Academy is meant for women politicians which meet the following requirements:

– They are active members of political parties, political movements or citizens groups

– They preform a public function (in executive or legislative government) or have a desire to run for a public function

– They are ready to build their careers through continuous learning and are interested in the gender equality topic

– They believe in values of solidarity – they desire to act and react in situations where women are being attacked or when women are in need of help and encouragement

– If they are selected, they will meet the obligations taken within The Women’s Leadership Academy

A special focus will be on political parties, organisations and citizens groups whose members are present in the new convocation of representative bodies – the republic’s and provincial legislature, as well as municipality assemblies. In order to form a balanced group of participants, we especially encourage members of national minority communities to apply for The Academy.

This year, The Aacademy will take on the following subjects:

– The history and results of the battle for women’s human rights

– Discussion with national and provincial women lawmakers

– The political system and the importance of women’s participation in the political decision-making process

– Local policies on gender equality

– Position of women from groups at risk

– Leadership skills the women’s way

– Public performance skills, arugmentation and debates

Aside from lectures, trainings and workshops dealing with the mentioned subjects, the program of The Academy incorporates additional activities. Alongside acquiring knowledge and skills, the Academy’s trainees will gain an opportunity to meet and speak to experienced women politicians and parlamentaries, as well as women leaders successful in various professions and roles. The Academy will also include screenigs of films with suitable themes that are to be discussed, as well as producing videos and analysis of public appearances of each participant. Finally, a certain amount of time will be dedicated to acquaintance, networking and socializing among the participants.

Key information on the program:

– The program of The Academy is to be conducted through a four-day seminar and follow-up activities: meetings with institutions and mechanisms dealing with gender equality, advocacy for improvment of the normative framework, as well as meetings with women’s NGOs.

– The seminars will include up to 30 participants

– The lecturers on the seminars are distinguished experts and public personas

– The organisers will cover the seminar, accomodation, transfer fees, as well as additional costs for follow-up activities;

– The participants at The Women’ Leadership Academy will receive a certificate for successful completion of the program upon its conclusion and will become a part of The Academy’s Alumni Club.

The candidates should fill out an online application for The Women’s Leadership Academy including their reasons for their engagement in politics and gender equality, no later than Monday, July 18th 2016.
